Well the problem is this guy is looked at highly here and said he has never had a complaint or problem before. If i mentioned his name i bet the answers would have been different.
You handle the situation very well, Jessica, and I don't think the answers would be any different, whether who is the seller.

I understand your desire to not BLAST or BASH this guy but can you tell us who he is? We don't want to become victims.
That's what the Market Feedback for ;) At this moment, the seller may not be in a good position, but if he rectifies the situation, then he's still a good seller. She did right by not putting his name out, to give him a chance to work it out.

i was hoping he would read this and see what everyone thought.
He may read it, but it's not hurt to send him an "FYI" PM ;)

Who's idea was it to meet in a parking lot? Did he not want you to go see the fish swimming in his tank first? How far did he have to travel to get to shark aquarium?

It's pretty obviuos who it is if you do some investigating.

The way I see it, if you inspect and accept the fish, then that's that. There are an infinite number of variables that could turn things sour, so you should rely on those 38 years of fishkeeping experience to keep an eye out. Once you accept the fish, I wouldn't hold the seller responsible. Hell its happened to all of us...gotta take the good with the bad and not cry about it.

just so everyone knows who it is, it is me!! Say and flame as you wish. If that fish was still in my tank it would be alive as it has been the last 6 months. i never said I starved for a week but yes 5 days and all 8 that I shipped the guy cant be more happy with. Leave me bad feedback, think what you want. I had every intention on helping you out till you got fresh IMO via PM. I hope everyone now knows I sell sick fish and I hope nobody ever bys from em again. I am saying all this in anger, cause I am, but if the situation was worded better by you instead of you demanding your money back I would have fixed this immediately. The story is very close to what jessica says but not exactly.

and I had not posted my bass for sale in about 2 weeks. You pm'd your coming to jersey could I make a pbass package for you. Originally it was just azuls and then you asked for kels

Agree. I've lost a crapload of fish due to just fish that didn't transport well. I didn't ask for my money back though as that's not fair in most cases to the private seller either when there's no way to pinpoint on who's end the error happened. I tried to figure where I went wrong and chalked it up to how "the game" goes. This hobby isn't all highs.

This about sums it all up. Always a risk in transporting fish. How long for the point you received the fish until you found out it was dead?

and not to defend myself I asked you "jessica" to give me till last night to do what I think is fair for both of us and you had to start this thread? You had to try and demand things? Not going to work with me at least. the people who generally buy my fish come pick them out themselves and know me well enough in all aspects to stand by what I think is right. I care for the fish and not the $$ in anyway and wish you had your $200 and I still had my kel alive in my tank, trust me. You should have just given the day to let me answer your request without making such a big deal and this would have turned out differently.
