Ringneck snakes

So these are out where im at in northern california. I seem them here and there but to often and its mostly in the leaves and what not cruisin along. I know in the wild a common thing they eat is other snakes also

When I happened to catch my ringneck on the surface he was quite a curious little snake... he would check out my hand if I put it in there and even slither on me. I certainly don't want to argue that they can't be personable snakes. However, as curious as they are while on the surface, fossorial snakes will spend the vast majority of their time underground if you give them enough dirt to dig under.

True. This guy has about 3" of a mix I use in my viv. He hangs out in leaf litter (i went mostly maple for theme, usually go bannana) or the moss. Neat as hell, how small he is. If he eats well, he will be earning himself a quality built viv.

Have some nice fungi, the kind thats hard and grows on trees, on a tree in my yard I could use.
