When I first put my female in with my male he did a real number on her, she bounced back nicely though and from that point on breed very well for me.

That's awesome Gordon I'm jealous now lol. The pics in this thread are both females. I'm keeping those two and a smaller One and I'm working them one on one with the male. Right now Im trying female #2 the bright one on right side if the divider in those pics. She's lil bigger now and showing more color. So far the courting is looking good.

Kareef- Iam holding the other two untill I get my pair, which I might get done this weekend then I'll def sell one of them not sure if I wanna hold one for backup yet or not. I do have 4 others from the group, all females as well that are available now pm me or something and we'll figure something out

Yeah, those are 2 definate females. Males look completely different once they hit about 3". You will be able to tell the difference instantly once you have a male.

Ok quick update. The two rtm's in this thread are females. I left then together till about two weeks ago when I moved. After I moved I put the largest female 4.5" "the one one the left in the previous pics" with my only male 3" maybe 3.25 in a 55 divided. The male surprised me, he totally pushed the female around. Things were looking good so I kept them divided while I wasn't around. Well a few days ago I decided that the female I wanted to keep wasn't in the tank with the male lol so I switched females "the one on the right" the male was a lil tattered from battles with previous female so I was hesitant on pulling the divider and let him heal.
The next day those two were all over each other at divider so I gave him a shot and pulled divider, it was awesome for about 30 min. Then I noticed his lip getting shredded so back went the divider, lol. I left them divided for the next 3-4 days the male healed up really fast and I couldn't stand watching their behavior any longer!! So I pulled divider again and BAM!!! Instant pair! No more lip locking or fighting, I got some footage on film which shows them very actively that I'll be posting on tuesday when the Internet gets hooked up to my new place. That was two days ago, and now I have them guarding eggs!!
