ok well good luck with that. ive had issues with the hole in the divider if both fish are close in size. i had a 3.5" haitensis female that i cut a hole for and a 7" male, and he made his way thru one night and killed her. since then i only use the trap door in the divider and only allow visitation while im supervising lol but that method has worked for years for alot of peopls so i dont see why it would work for you.

That was one thing I was worrying about...mine are close in size right now. Might do the supervised visitation thing.

Again, great looking pair, I have a 5" male I'm waiting to pair with a 3.5" female. I hope they turn out looking like yours my friend.

Which strain do you have Ghage? both are stunning but im more partial to the rio blanco and thank you. I do have a large F1 female 5" give or take thats available

The fry are free swimming!!! as soon as the cloud completely emerges ill get some footage and a rough head count And they are great parents, the male is so gentle around the fry and the female is very protective and pushes the male back sometimes. I think after this batch they will be a lil more relaxed the next time
