Rio Cana Brava SP

Got this when it came in as a contaminant from a Rio Cana Brava Azul shipment a couple of mths back. My LFS who brough them in was telling me it was most likely a kel since Rio Cana Brava only has Kels and Azuls. Got it at abt when it was 1.5", now pushing 7". I dunno much abt the Rio Cana Brava river, but I suspect there ain't only Kels and Azuls there. Can't say I'm disappointed anyway, the blue on this guy is more amazing then my Azul. Anyone wanna take a shot at IDing?

Sick wild monos! Definitely not kelberis. Take some more pics, the one below it in the first pictures appears to have a lot of yellow.

I think kels would show a lot of spangles at that size. It's a very nice mono though. I'd love to own a pure mono. Nice pickup!

Care to share why mono? For me I'm in between mono and occel but more towards the later because its so blue.

I think kels would show a lot of spangles at that size. It's a very nice mono though. I'd love to own a pure mono. Nice pickup!

Not necessary. I'm just not very gd at raising pbass to show true potential.

I think it's because I have much bigger pbass in with them that they nv show their true colours, the Rio docce has anal spangles appear only to disappear a couple of days later.

It's all about you and what you like really. All that matters is if you like the fish or not.
