I would keep the algae, looks good. Use daylight 6500 k t8 bulbs from lowes or something, get 2 for 10$ (in canada) and they work great
Got some java ferns today and a plant light. Pet store didn't have any swords in stock. Also today was feeding day and one of the first times I really got to see the flathead out of his cave

Snails! Should I keep them or get rid of them while I see them? They are really small, will they be algae controllers?
Also how would they get in here? Maybe from my plants I just bought but also the little 26 gallon has some and I have not put any live plants in it
