Rio San Pedro Beani update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm feeding most of my fish NLS Thera mixed in with some Hikari Carnivore sticks. They LOVE the Hikari. I give the Beani a mix of different NLS pellets but mainly Thera.

Yours is doing great. I just am ultra paranoid about bloat. I've had solo fish get it.

Amazing beani! You've done a great job with it!

tell what your food of choice is then Chris or what would you suggest..... NLS ? Getting this guy off a good I don't think would be a problem seeing how aggressive an eater he is. Let me know bro

Yeah. I use NLS.

Perhaps mix it up for a while until you wean him off the Massivore. He sure looks happy, so no need to make him go cold turkey! :naughty:

Sounds like you've had him for a while, so if you're sure he's parasite free there's no need for Thera-A.

It really comes down to whether or not the fish eats from the surface. If he does, I'd feed the XL floaters (7.5 mm) once a day, with just a sprinkle of the tiny 1 mm sinkers several times daily (to produce a grazing response). If he doesn't eat from the surface, try the wafers or the larger sinking pellets instead of the XL.

It'd be cool it you could get it from Pharoh or another MFK vendor!

already talked to Pharoh :D gonna get the 10mm, 6mm, and the 3mm. This boy will eat from the surface from the bottom.... greedy fish !!

Lots of similarities in their formulas. I don't really worry too much about the formulas except for the Thera (sick, new fish) or Grow (fry).

Got my sample of 10mm in today. ROCK hard!

10mm? Does Thera come in that size? Lopaka did you already order?

No, it's a new "Mega-Formula" for huge fish like RTC's that'll eat just about anything. The pellets are brick hard. My biggest dovii just spits them out, and all the other fish that are large enough to take them spend a LONG time working on them.
