Aww!! I just found out the " Father of Pro Stock" Bill GRUMPY Jenkins passed away on March 29th. This guy pioneered soo many things in pro stock racing, but I always admired his small block chevys competing with Hemis. He was a wizard at tuning and set many national records. Grumpy

Both my mom and step father were NHRA champs a few times over. I knew him personally and he was a great guy. RIP

So Kev, do you have any stories about Grumpy? I mean his nickname was Grumpy. Im bummed I never had the chance to formaly meet him. A couple years ago I was cruising the pits at the Fairplex, and someone walked out of a trailer obviosly pissed off, I realized it was him but didn't think it was the right time to approach him

Pro stock guys are ALWAYS pissed off about something lol. Never really "sat down" with him or anything, but generally speaking seemed like a nice down to earth guy.
