it is only a hunch... i am trying to find out more.....but many cold water fish cant acclimate to warm water for the long haul eg KOI that i know of....

channel cats I've kept always seem to be respirating WAY too much and too fast...did casper do the same thing? I've always figured it was because they didn't like the warm water...not enough DO.

exactly !!! breathing about 2x compared to the other fish.....thanks for your observation
