....I BOUGHT MINE FOR 15 BUCKS AND JARDINI FOR 45....
That may seem like high prices compared to the vendors on MFK but not for pbass from a LFS. Some of those prices are actually better than my LFS. Around me, arowanas go for $60+ and I've seen farmies for $50+.
items are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. so now they are worth less then when you bought them. classic investing buy now what will be worth more in the future. you just made a bad investment.

man all you guys *****ing about prices. here whinge about these prices in oz.
Birchirs, 3 inches to 4 inches $280-$380
Silver aro's 10-20cm $220-$350
Green aro's 10-20cm $400-$600
Alligator gars 6 inches+ $350-$500
Spotted gars 6 inches+ $250-$380
Snakehead gudgeons very few small ones ever come up, but 8 inches+ $250-$350
Red aro's And belive me we get the **** stuff 15cm+ $2500 and up
Motoro pups, these have dropped recently due to many ppl breeding them $800-$1100 male@ 15cm disk
$1200-$1500 for females@ 15cm disk
Reticulated rays very few come up $1500+
And i could go on for ever. Luck last
Cichla monoculus, dropped dramatically due to multiple breeding pairs in oz atm.
1-3 inches going for $10-$20 but around 6-12 inches can command between $100-$250 depending on quality and availability at the time.
Cichla temensis 1-3 inches $100-$200
All these prices are an average of things ive seen over the last few months
Also i would like to add the only cichla we have in oz are Monoculus and temensis, there are no occellaris in australia currently.
