River Monsters Red Belly Pacu

I got a Pacu swimming around my tank... a massive 32" monster! Never bit me. Matter of fact...he like to have his belly rub!

..he thought pacus were vegetarians? i've seen the show many times, and that guy [either of them, the older guy or the newer guy] is usually pretty knowledgable.. i'm surprised he had thought they were complete vegetarians

I'm sitting here watching River Monsters the episode is "the mutilator" and he's chasing a fish in papua new guinea that is biting peoples testicles. RBPs have been introduced to the river and at first he dismissed the fish as a vegetarian. He changed his mind however when he kept catching Pacu with pork. Talking to the natives they say that the Pacu eat anything and everything, snakes, ducks, little fish, along with the normal veggy diet.

Just thought it was interesting with so many people keeping the fish in their aquariums. has anyone had any trouble with these fish biting?
