Peacock Bass - Cichla orinocensis & C. sp. 1" Special

Small True Peacock Bass in stock and on sale. Very fast growing at this stage, most of them are cichla orinosensis, with some very nice exotic cichlas mixed into the batch... still too small for definite ID. They include azuls, cichla intermedia, nigromaculata and others. No ocellaris or common p. Bass. The world renown prized sports fish, the Peacock Bass. A very hard to find species, greatly sought after both in the fishing world and in the aquarium hobby.

azuls?, intermedia?, nigromalculata? I'm not sure if i believe that, but i thought i would run it by you guys

sounds good but i feel like i remember bad things about this site, i could be wrong though.

The last time I talked to them they were advertising Orinocensis, so I called them, the guy barely spoke English and said they didn't have any and hadn't for a while... Kinda put me off

Still too small for definite ID.Well at least they are honest about that part.

so u saying that the fact that the guy didnt speak English well it put you off?

They are full of ****, and charge a lot for it too.
Think about it guys, yeah a mixed bag of Venezuelan and Brazilian bass? Maybe nigromaculata could be mixed in, but not really likely at all. They are jokers. Someone buy a few dozen at their prices and then in a few months when you have all orinocensis you'll realize the truth. A mixed bag, please. Ridiculous.
The two fish in the pic are orinocensis, FWITW.
