Did anyone get any from RW yet?? I saw them in person, they are more or less like 1/2 inch size. No pattern what so ever to ID. If RW got nigromaculata and intermedia in the past, I am sure they know what exactly this batch of fish are. Putting out words of mixed batch of rare cichla, but later they turn out to be mono or ocellaris, their reputation will get ruined instantaneously. We shall get that answer in less than 1-2 months if someone decide to get just a few of them to prove. :naughty: and that person may just be "the smartest" or the stupidest" person to do so.
What a dilemma. :uhoh:

I think RW should have just advertised as mixed Peacockbass sp. for $18 each....possibly Orino's at best. But to say all the other rarity just to drum up inquires well it could be good marketing or bad publicity =-(

I've never had a bad experience with RW because like any good consumer just do your homework. Being the buyer it's your decision to buy or not. However as stated someone who buys a bag full will either end up being the smartest or dumbest person in a few months?

It's good to be hopeful because in the end things may you go your way.

I remember when baby Armatus made it's way in the hobby for like $50.... following what I've read and seen on the internet in regards to what a 2-3" Armatus looks like I passed on the deal thinking they were red tails, well in the end guess what.... they all ended up being Armatus......

So roll the dice and take the gamble. Life is about risk and for $18 can you really go wrong?

I guess that the six hundred dollar nigro has depreciated like a used Pontiac.

Just a big disappointment after growing it out to find out it's not what you expected.

From what I read... looks like Orinos are at LEAST what buyers get, not THE BEST.......meaning the worst scenario I will end up orinos of $18/ea. RW already states no common pbass. No monos. ??
I am just saying of I am thinking, not necessary what I will DO. Just sharing opinions and see what others think, too.
If someone is willing to pick up few of my shark's and rapp's 3rd batch, I am willing to take some risk, just for fun..... and update them here.... The truth will reveal itself.
