I don't know about anyone else, but Im not upset at all. Just wish they had made it. It always a bit of a chance when you buy like this, thats part of the fun.

That's the positive way of thinking. Specially the price is reasonable.

He is in a tank with 2 airstones. I will remove the spray bar on the canister filter. He is moving his fins more now and it looks like he is trying to live. I called and they said if he died they would ship another one.

I've said before that if these are not GATF that I wouldn't be upset about that. I'm only losing the $60 on shipping and I'm still getting an ATF- which is the point anyway right? The only thing I would be pissed at is being lied to. I cant say yet that I was lied to as I won't post pictures for I.D. on a fish that may be dead soon. It may still be a GATF...the head looks more square and there aren't any stripes...but he is laying on his side next to an airstone so I cant really tell at all. And I'm sure pictures wouldn't help- he is laying on 1 side and I cant see him very well.

Either way, I will end up with some sort of ATF and the rage will subside It will look good in my tank regardless ....as long as it is swimming and not dieing on the bottom

Look at thesew with a grain of salt..... Dont pay attention to the coloration, and just FYI, the head appears a bit longer when placed next to my VATF, or FATF. These fish are very small as well, close to 3 inches.

I must admit that without seeing them side by side I would have assumed this to be a VATF. Tail is much more rounded, and head seems longer. This is in comparison to fish of the same size. Of course I can't get good pics of the live ones as they are in my 450g and only about 3 inches....

Those are forksalii.. mine looks exactley the same.. not the red on the bottom lobe of the caudal fin like all forksalii.. i bought my forksalii as vittatus but after researching im almost 100% positive

This is a GATF. The nose/jaw is flat/square, not round or pointed

I guess what threw me off was that on both of mine the tail does not come to a point, rather they were very rounded. All of these other pics the tails are much more pointed. Seems odd.

The tail will change it shape when it grow bigger..

body color,the pic that isn't your ons the bottom is brevis, see the tail also how it is more broad and not as thin and pointed, also how its body is more silverish with less visable lines.
the one above it is tanzinea/ farskulii like you have, see stripes and thin pointed tail shape...

they grow out to a point, sooner than later, give it a few weeks
