Yeap, and still no contact about my refund. No response to my emails or anything.

I must say they did send me the right thing twice and the survivor is awesome.They did however lose a customer for life.

they did the same to me. he did not tell me he shipped my armatus, then i had to skip out of work to fly to the airport:screwy:

I ordered two during the week, and both died within a few hours of arrival ( they were also swimming upside down in the bag.) I spoke with them about it multpile times. Very reasonable to deal with in my situation. They do have more and are testing their shipping at the moment. They said they would contact me on monday regarding replacements. I'm still debating if I want the refund or the fish. I can get a regular atf any day here, but a gatf would make it worth it. So i guess after looking at the pics, they are not Gatf's?

Well to my understanding...most atf cannot take long time traveling in plastic bag. Mine turn upside down before i even bring home from lfs...they get tired struggling inside, but after awhile they are alright. Since my journey is consider not so long so it still alright... but for shipper, they have to bare the lost and freight cost. For those who ship wrongly I not so sure about the shipper but some local lfs where i come from cant different out what is what...eg some catfish selling $200 plus and i ask them what the name for fun and they dun even know...but I know it a jau cat...I even know 1 lfs owner still ar with me that vatf is confirm gatf cos of some book he got..

I think there is a chance some are GATF... we all think different;)
 
The owner says they are testing out some fish this weekend- which means they left them packaged in the shop until monday. He told me they have had a lot of deaths.

I will still be waiting for the fish, as a refund would only be for the fish ,and not the shipping. Not much I would be able to do ,except get pissed ,if it arrives alive and is anything but a goliath. At this point, I will take what I can get and just hope it turns out to be what they actually took my money for.

I think a better example in this situation would be if you ordered a Z06 vette for $45k and received a C06 vette instead. If it were truly a Z06 then it would have been a hell of a deal but it is still a fair price for a C06.

I ordered 2 Pustulatus puffers from a wholesaler through work for $50 a pop. I pretty much knew they would not be the $200 puffers but it is a gamble I took and when dealing with wholesalers there is no such thing as individual pics.... I still got 2 really nice Fahakas that have a lot of the red in their coloration...

If the pics on RW are still the same ones then to my untrained eye those do not look like GATF at all. Mouth is very round and pointy. If the fish you get does not look like the pic you can argue but if it does then you got what you paid for. Not sure how many employees they have but it could as with most fish it up to an individuals interpretation as to the actual species. Plus there will be variation among the same species (how man pure breed dogs look exactly the same?)...

Hope your fish arrives alive and healthy and provides you with the joy of ownership no matter the species.
