Is it a possibility that these were acquired through a breeder and not collected wild?
Some people have said they received goliaths.....
fugupuff;1937401; said:100% NOT POSSIBLE. they've not been bred except once in Japan, over 20 yeras ago, and those were vittatus! All the people receiving goliaths now are left over from last season, which lasted until January this year.

So if these are 4-5" they could still be goliaths then?

Can you get the Goliath i need atleast three?fugupuff;1938448; said:forskalli stay small, probaby won't past 15" for most people, slender, and fast., neat fish usually very dark markings on the body.
vittatus get real thick, nice colors and black markings., they easily get 20" plus in captivity, grows fast, and are most aggressive.
goliath, its another animal all together!
