i was looking at getting a few juvi rock bass to pair with the 4 yellow perch i have. i was wondering what people have to say about rock bass. are they aggresive.? etc? any comments would be appreciated

i would say that rock bass seem to be the elast aggressive of the bass family. but still a little mean towards their own species if they cant establish their own territory. goodluck catching one small enough lol and post pictures if you do

Whats the size of your tank, your yellow perch and is their structure in their?

from my experience they are a just like a SMB but alot smaller, they do like to have their own territory, and their diet consists of pretty much the same things perch like

awesome thanks for the info guys.
I currently have 4- 4 1/2 inch yellow perch in a 55 gallon column tank, lots of plants and drift wood, it has gravel/sand substrate. next summer i plan on getting a bigger tank maybe a 90 or 100 to house a few extra fish (i made a mistake when i first got the tank because they really do need the swim room)
I live in canada so species i can select for tanks are very very limited, since most are extreme preditors. there is a few lakes in the south of our province (only 3 out of 100,000) hold rock bass but i love the looks of the species.
