problem is there are very strict rules on transporting native fish, i dont dare even try bringing an american fish over the border. sounds like i gotta do some fishing. there is one lake here that has them ha.
awesome picture Bj!
Thats too bad do you have any LFS's you could purchase native fish from? The thing Ive always thought was cool about rock bass was the fact they can change colors to camouflage themselves.

haha well thats not really a bad thing imo. Warmouth thats actually the reason why im interested in them, i want a pure native species tank but all the native species around where i live they dont have any colour at all unless you are talking about trout. choices i have here for natives are, Yellow perch, Walleye, northern pike (Whitefish, white sucker) Sauger goldeye mooneye. Goldeye and mooneye being very rare and almost protected. so i've opted to travel 3 hours to try to get a rock bass or two, down south they have a few species of catfish and LMB, absolutely no other sunfish :(

Thats a mean fish you got there!! Sweet.

Thanks!

Yeah he is definitely a tough guy. He is super aggressive and mean to all of his tank mates.
