I like both in moderation...I hate centerpieces that overpower the tank and take up too much room...
That said...I'm certianly not above going the early american Tacky route now and again.
I read a post reciently were someone was bieng bashed for putting a bottle in his tank...it wasn't NATURAL...Well...let me tell you...if you dont think thats natural you've never visited a river around here...LOL
Driftwood mainly for my SA tanks, my 150G has a literal ton of wood. My 75G has a huge piece of grapevine that Ive had in my tanks for several years...and my 45G tank has a couple pieces but its decore is extremely bare anyway. My 100G brackish tank has mainly rock, dead coral base rock to be exact....there is a bit of wood in there...I need to order some more for it actually. I also keep some rock in my SA tanks...just to accent the wood mostly. So I suppose my answer would be both
i say both, but i agree rocks are a little more scary especially since i'm not quite tall enough and my arms aren't quite long enough to reach the bottom of my big tank lol.
I like both, I MUST have driftwood in a tank though- love the stuff!
Depends on the fish's needs though, replicating natural environment as close as possible is most important to me.
