Rocks too large for aquarium?

man, the water in your tank wieghs over 1000 pounds alone. Pretty sure if the glass can handle that then as long as the 40 lbs isnt forced down on 1 point then you will fine

Use some sealant to tack it together and it should be fine.

reefers keep over a lb per gal. go to home depot and get a sheet of lighting grid for 20 bucks and put yo mind at ease.

ive got large rocks with no problem, just make sure the rocks are sitting on gravel, sand or somthing.

I'd be more worried about that homemade stand.....

If your rocks are resting on gravel, it could be forcing a small piece of gravel into the tank bottom (point pressure) and break it. I would be worried about that as well as any fish you might have that like to dig.

well back on topic i would be more worried about being struck by lightning. But yeah just get some egg crate and be done with it
