yes is was. I couldn't have been any more dissapointed. i thought i'd wait a while to cool down, but to be honest, it makes no difference.
Lampard is a piece of sh*t. I'd drop him from the SQUAD. It's been a number of games now that i have been taking a lot of time watching him, and he gives the ball away 90% of the time. He is absolutely useless.
Wright-phillips. I actually really like him, but he has 0 confidence. Shame because he'd be a good back up for lennon if he had the confidence... i'll blame chelsea. Drop lampard, put in hargreaves with gerrard doing his thing, and maybe he'll stop being as inaffective as usual and try to play the same as he does for liverpool... but i've always taken it that for him its club first, country later.
Forward wise i don't know what to do. Crouch the daddylonglegs of a human is an OK player. He is not international level. Playing him upfront by HIMSELF is rediculous, may aswell not play him at all. I'm happy to have defoe in the squad. Rooney is ok even though he wouldnt win the personality contest. As long as Owen never makes it back to the england team I'll be happy. He is useless even more with our current team. He has an apauling england game/goal record, and i'm fed up of everone banging on about how good he is. He scored a good goal against argentina and has somehow been in the first team ever since.
Phillip Neville. Seriously, are we going backwards? Get rid of him immediately.
And what the hell is our manager doing. What kind of shocking substitutions did he make this time! It's great being english and all, but i'm afraid that would qualify me for the job too. Need to get rid of him asap. I fear for england i really do.
