6700/6700 would be best for plants imo, 6700/10000 would work also but I feel 6700/6700 would be the best route to go for most usable light for the plants. acinic doesn't help plants almost at all, it's used much more for reef setups
Ya a t8 wouldn't be enough for as far from the substrate as it is imo. Upgrading to t5 or t5ho would definitely offer more usable light for the plants
I have a bit of experience with planted tanks, my first tank (still running) is a heavily planted 20H with DIY LED fixture from rapidled.com that I ran co2 on for a while. I stopped co2 and noticed that algae hasn't been creeping up so would rather leave it off than deal with filling it occasionally (still lots of good plant growth). I'm not sure if it's allowed here, but plantedtank.net is an excellent resource on planted tanks (where I learned everything I know about planted tanks)
