I am going to try and get some pics at some point with my SLR and bounce flash but for now you have to deal with crappy iphone pics. ;)

I got 3 of these guys when I wanted another poly but couldn't find one I wanted locally. I am so happy I did. They are super graceful swimmers, hang out in silly positions everywhere, are very peaceful, are active, and I love their smiley looking faces. They do pile with the other polys, too, but definitely hang out together. Plus mine now eat out of my hand so that adds another dimension to the relationship.

If I had a larger tank I'd grab a few more probably.

They frequently sort of mirror each other in their silly positions.

Just started trying to hand feed them and they caught on fast. I think it's pretty cool considering they've only been with me for about 3 months.

They're from 9-11 inches.... they've grown more in girth than length since I've gotten them. I have 2 males and one female. The female is the smallest and the shiest.

I've found that the warmer the tank gets the more active mine is. Right now the tank is around 82 and he is always cruising through the plants

Interesting. I keep my tank around 79. I wonder if I should try cranking it up a few degrees.

the difference in activity from 76/78 to a constant 82 was insane in my tank. all the polys seem more active. the only ones who don't seem to care about the temp change are my Lima Shovelnose and TT theyre still excessively lazy.

magpie magpie those videos are cool, i never realized ropes would take to hand feeding like that.
