What is classify as a flowerhorn all lies in the eye and opinion of each and its own. Let's say Red Monkey for example, some classify them as a "Kamfa" while other say it's in its own class. But then see the problem is, a Kamfa must have a "flowerhorn" and a parrot" in them in order to be classify as a Kamfa. And this is coming from Thai standard classification of a Kamfa(of course we have Vieja as well). But here's the issue, a Red Monkey doesn't have any flowerhorn in them. Just heavy on parrot itself. Now here's another catch, what is a "flowerhorn"? There was never a criteria set whether it needs to have a trimac to be a flowerhorn, or needs to have which fish and etc to be consider as a flowerhorn. As much of a mystery as it is with a pitbull, we don't know what is really consider as a "flowerhorn". So to class what is a flowerhorn and what isn't, all lies in the eye of each and its own.

Awesome - loving the sponge bob!

I crossed a Devil and a KKP and got a lot that look like this and about 1/4 that look like different variations of KKP. They are about .5-1" now and there are tons of different body/head shapes, not to mention, fins. Out of about 400, I still have about 300 and Im just itchin to see them peel! Hang in there dude, they will fade and be cool.. Maybe..

Oh yeah! So far they have been culling themselves. I'm not really interested in flooding Minnesota with any "B grade" fish, so my culls will not go to LFS, that's annoying.. They will be fish food! I'm lookin for about 5 Champs and a whole tank full of KKP, I think I'll get my wish!
BTK- Culling is when you weed out the B-grades without potential. That way, nobody gets a crappy fish and everyone is happy! In flowerhorn/hybrid breeding, the genes are so messed up, you'll end up with some boring generic fish so you have to be willing to "cut" some dead weight out of your breeds.
