RTC and TSN Information

Just feed lots and change the water lots... and you'll make your RTC Comfy by keeping that Marble in there with him... it'll be a nice snack in a month or so

Hey guys i just bought a baby RTC and hes about 2". My problem is that hes in the same tank as a Marble cat 2" and it seems like its getting bigger than the RTC. What foods should i feed them so they can grow equal in size? What do i do to make the Redtail more comfy in his new home?

i was very surprised wen i read this! maybe ure RTC shud be fed in the dark so he has more confidence to eat more. he is only 2'' so fear is a common trait!

mine would only eat when the lights were off for the longest time but once he grows into his ego you wont have that problem or if you want to see him eat you can look into the red light kits

how do the hybrids do with turtles im lookin bout throwing turtles in the pond when i get it set up? thanks for the help

hey just a quick q. does that apply to a sand substrate too? will a TSN swallow the sand? mines only young, 12cm and shows a very round belly at times

check necrocanis's threads...he has a hybrid named bigboy...who is around 38-40''...maybe larger by now. probs the largest hybrid on the website
