man your lucky you live in Brazil...you guys can just catch these bad boy in your river system...unless theirs a law with taking fishes for food which i doubt :D

Well, here we just have to respect the Piracema, that is the time the fishes reproduce, being prohibited all fishing. It longs about 4 months.
The other months, every species has a minimum size AND amount that can be fished. Not remembering the size for the RTC and TSN.

I consider myself lucky too, we got a lot of fishes in our river system, but not everybody thinks this way. Problems with pollution, river drying, are killing some systems.

Just wondering... their are two cases of which some sites say in South America these are eaten by humans but on the other sites they say you can't eat them....whats true?

You need to catch a plane south and learn bud. You don't seem to know much abou cats in the wild.

Why do you think the RTC x TSN was created? So it can live a life of misery in a tank belonging to someone who needs a better job so they can upgrade?

P.S Arapaima and tigs taste nicer, but the latter needs to be very fresh as it don't keep well out in the heat down there.

Hey did i ask about your opinion?! stop going in my threads and derailing them. :irked: "don't seem to know much" you need to learn how to hold your tongue. If your going to keep derailing threads including mines get off the board

Yeah, you probably have a point. After all a 15 year old kiddie won't have the life experince to have sampled pan fried arapaima, or even roasted plec. Mmmmmm tasty.

Will post you some pics next year when I'm back there of some of the fish they serve. :)

You ever eaten fishy things?
