my rtc hasn't eaten for 2 days since my dad fed him a dead goldfish..he is always being such an ass and likes to be a know it all so he said it was going to be fine..i wasn't there when he fed it and i clearly told him to mind his own fish...anyone know if he has i disease or parasites?what are the signs & symptoms?

he is swimming around the tank like he is looking for food but he won't touch anything i feed him..what is wrong with him?

the usual man..super worms, freeze dried shrimp, sinking pellets..he used to love those...

Have you tested your water to see if that is ok and when was the last water change if he is swimming around like normal he is probably fine they wont eat every day if they dont want to but it is posable that the dead goldfish died of a parasite or bacteria that could be making him feel unwell just keep an eye on him and dont leave any food in the tank if he is not eating it dont leave it in there once he is hungery again he will eat but if you see any sighns that might think he is ill come back to us and let us know. And sort out a bigger tank!!!!!

ok man..i don't leave any food in the tank whern he doesn't eat it..his tankmate the gourami is eating fine..the ammonia is 0 ppg..last water change was done i think yesterday or the other day..i will keep an eye on him and will be getting a larger tank soon

Mine doesn't eat superworms. Try feeding it tilapia fillets, dilis or any other market bought seafood which could fit in its mouth.

wow i just noticed youre from the philippines jganner!:)... where u at? i am here in taguig man..btw i have fed him sashimi and chicken liver..recently he ate some uncooked liempo..but now he won't even touch anything..he is swimming around actively though..why has he lost his appetite?

dont worry yet it takes pred fish a lot longer to digest the thick skin/scales on fish like carp/goldfish than to digest fillets or dry foods-might not eat for a week but stay alert for any signs of infection just in case.
