Constantly staying up on the sides, especially if head down indicates a territorial issue. The sub dominant fish has no where to go. You could add some 600mm diameter PVC pipe (pretty expensive unless you find off cuts from large building developments) which sink well or cut both ends of several 55 gallon barrels which would then need to be weighed down. Another option is to add more RTC fish to overcrowd. Happy fish will all pile into a pipe together tightly.
If your using feeders, the RTC will eat whenever hungry. I add some green peas once a week and home made pellets (I have a pellet mill) occasionally. Feeding your feeders a good diet is sufficient to overcome RTC food deficiencies.
