wow ive never seen that b4! u might wana add one dose of rock salt...seems to work like a charm for me plus my catfish never ever get sick...

What are the water permaitors?

I missed the question first time around so I don't have any of the details.

To be honest this looks like a water quality issue to me. Either a reaction to high ammonia levels or trace copper in the water. Copper and scaless cat's don't mix.

can't really tell. I notice there are holes in the gill covering also. I am unfamiliar with what symptoms fish lice cause.

Typical I have problems that no one else has seen :irked::irked::irked:

Water peram as follows

GH 60 mg/L
KH 0 mg/L
pH 6 (ish)
NO2- 0-0.5 mg/L
NO3- 160 mg/L

and the worst one NH4 (ammonia) at or above 7.3mg/L However the test kit shows that a pH of 6-7 with 7.3mg/L of amonia is still safe?

I treated for amonia with King Brittish Safe Water that is suposed to remove Ammonia and nitrite ?????????

How long has your tank been set up and what is your tank maintenance routine. Your tank is either not cycled, or does not have enough filtration to support the bioload of your fish. Most fish get some kind of affliction or another when their water quality is poor. The only sure way to remove ammonia is to let your tank cycle naturally. Always take uneaten food out of the tank, and make sure that the bioload of your tank doesn't out do that of your filtration. I am affraid that your fish may die if you do not take immediate actions. Adding salt to an ammonia rich environment will only aggrevate your fish' condition more than it already is. That fish needs moved to an ammonia free environment. IE hospital tank that is fully cycled. DO NOT feed your fish more as you will only increase the ammonia levels in your tank. I fear for your fish, but if you move it to an ammonia free environment now there might still be hope yet. GOOD LUC!!
