you could do a tsn but you would still have to upgrade when it got to about 20 inches. and it would be able to cohab with the gar if the gar was the same size
Chill the F%^$ out man... First off, people will respond when they feel like it or have an answer for you... Second, Why are you trying to put warm water fish in with a cold water fish... your torturing that poor fella.. and shortening it's life span Channel Cats should be kept in water less than 70 degrees and RTC's are to be in warmer water above 70 degrees.
I know that there are members on here that are doing it but it's like putting someone who lives in Alaska and putting them in Florida... it's uncomfortable for them yet tolerable.
