hi

i think of getting a rtc , have any body got any ideas for heating the pond in the uk and what would the min be for rtc pond .

both get both, a pool heater hooked up to your filtration system works well and they can thrive in 72% but not that well they get sluggish you would want a constant 82% if kept in the cold weather umless you decide to bring them in ?

As big as you can fit/afford. 1000+ Gallons.

They get HUGE, please house them accordingly.

yes please do I have a 240 for now and its fine but let me tell you if your going to love them as much as alot of us do its going to get pricy$$$ when I move to my new home in jersey next year I 'm building a 2500 gallon fish tank room just for y rtc's so unless your going to spend the time and money it will be hard for you and danger for them

try a 6foot long by 3foot back by 2foot deep pond there in most shops around here for £150 and get 4 300w heaters if going out side or garge would be better :D and a fulval X5
Youd need more than 1 FX5, id go for 6x4x2 you can get them for around £150, thats what i paid for mine.
