I recently bought a 3 inch or so rtc and I was wondering about a few things. What should my water temp be? It stays around 78 . Also what should my Ph be at? Its around 7.3 . He seems heathy he eats every day he seems to be less shy. I'm kinda new to keeping tanks perfect. I used to have 6 channel cats and all I did was there Ph. They all were about 2 foot a peice. Can someone explain nitrates? I understand ammonia but I still haven't tested for it. I'm goingvto the lfs to pick up a few things for it and I think I'm going to buy some water testing supplies

If you did your research then why are you asking simple questions, please take it back do some research on the nitrogen cycle and upgrade tanks. A 20 would last an rtc a month
