MY rtc Jacque, named by my g/f for his french whiskers or w/e, ate my airstone. its the size of a small bounceyball, about a quarter size in diameter. I can see the small bulge in his stomache, hes probablly about 12in long. Im hoping he'll throw it up or that the stone will break down and hell poop it out. Its one of the cheap ones from petsmart. Usually they break down in my aquarium after about 4months and its been in there for 2 months or so. im hoping the muscles around his stomach will break it down. does anyone have any advice?

oh no! i dont know what to do in that situation. im sorry. do they make fishy laxatives? i hope it doesnt hurt him. good luck

from what ive read previously, most of the time the RTC's end up throwing up whatever it is theyve swallowed, wether it be ornaments, filter nozzels, or thermometers

HAHAHAHA!! I don't think it will do anything good giving your fish laxatives! I don't think it will be a good thing if it comes out that way..

sorry for the laugh but sheeting bricks just got a new meaning..

I think Jaque will be fine, he will attempt to throw it up when it gets uncomfortable, when he does, do a water change to clear the water.. good luck..
