RTC with Motoro

Can anyone tell me about housing a RTC with a Motoro stingray?

ive always wondered this too. one of my main fears would be the rtc gobbling up the tail

I have a 12 inch rtc, i want to add a motoro in the next couple of weeks. The rtc has been housed with smaller tank mates and I have never had a problem. I am looking to see if anyone has any experience with this combination of fish.

I have heard they are compatible as long as no aggression is seen, IF the disc is big enough to not be rolled up like burrito into the RTC's mouth. I plan on housing mine together when they are compatible size once I get my 314g tank ... Under close supervision.

Thank you for the response, I want to try it but the seller is concerned about my rtc eating or damaging the ray. I think they will be ok, they are going in a 240g. The rtc has never bother any of my other fish in my 210g and he was housed with much smaller fish.

I would be concerned too if the rays are babies unfortunately. You need larger ones... what disc size are they?

You should be ok... where are you buying from.. I live north of columbus and am always looking for a good pcs...

the rtc is 12" and the ray is 6"

I see nowhere where he said the ray was 6" unless you are talking for the OP?

I'd watch carefully if the ray is 6" but it might work.
