I seriously don't get it. Whenever somebody post a picture or say they bought a RTC, people would surely post those pictures over and over and over again. There is already a sticky at the catfish sub-forum about how large can RTC get, I believe people can read for themselves.
To OP, beautiful rtc there. Hopes he recover![]()

Nothing to worry about as it will all grow back. What i do worry about though is the gill curl and sunken bellyI am seeing on your rtc in the last picture. I promise i will NOT flame you but i am curious what your setup is for your rtc? Tank size, water parameters, maintenance schedule, tank mates etc. I am here to help.![]()

Mine didnt eat for a week when I transferred him from my 300 to my 700 gallon. I like what you are planning on feeding him. That is all what mine gets fed. Also I am curious, that 200 gallon will be okay for a few months, but not for long term. They should reach at least 18 inches in their first year of life. What are your plans for him once he outgrows the 200 gallon? Also beware that your cichlid may become food sooner or later if the rtc outgrows him. Good luck with him though.![]()
