Nice aro, shame so many asian aros get D.E. sometime or another. Hey sometimes changing out fish can't be avoided as they just don't work in someones setup. I have seen many of tank mate changes in the tank with Mikes arowana and the only constant is the Arowana and that's how some peoples setups are....Based on one center piece of a fish with everything else around it changing.Aro is awesome mike !! I also like the fact that he ultimately cares for his fish , doesn't just change them out all the time !!! As for the ST , The ST is in great hands !! Mike gets plenty of updates of his ST!! I'm very fortunate to know mike and have him as a friend and was lucky enough to acquire such a great fish from a great friend!! Worked out well for both of us I'd say![]()
I guess I didn't elaborate on the point enough Trevor but that was kinda the point I had in my head lol , we all know that in this hobby there's a lot of trail and error and gives and takes while trying to make our stock work out with their tank mates !!! And ya Mikes RTG has always been his prized fish for his hobby!! I didn't mean to have any disregard towards any other MFKers because they switch out fishNice aro, shame so many asian aros get D.E. sometime or another. Doesn't mean you care less for the previous fish you had. Arowanas at 6",12" and 24" have a total different personalities and sometimes you can't make it work with all the other existing fish in the tank and sometimes things have to give or go!
None taken but I would say more people change out their fish very often then not. Not to many people these days hang onto fish for very long except for things like loaches, plecos and fish alike as they tend to fit with a variety of tankmates.I guess I didn't elaborate on the point enough Trevor but that was kinda the point I had in my head lol , we all know that in this hobby there's a lot of trail and error and gives and takes while trying to make our stock work out with their tank mates !!!
