I sure can. Hopefully I can pre-order mealworms and crickets on a weekly basis as there is a small petshop only about a 10 minutes walk away.

You should do the math now... As now, it;s small and feeding it is not an issue. But as it grow bigger, it will eat more. Can you afford to do the same as now?:D

My advise, train it to accept dead meat like shrimp meat.

I sure can so its not a problem :)

Hope you know what you are getting into.:D I have alot of monsters in my house and if I were to feed like you, I will be drained of $$$ every month if base on how much one monster can eat.

I sure do, I've read that T1karmann can go through 1kg of superworms in a week so that should only cost around £20 here.

Currently it has no tankmates but I'm hoping to get some soon but I'm finding it a little hard choosing as my tank is planted.

Only £20 a week. That's a lot in my opinion. You should be able to get him to eat a variety of foods. I'd go for datnoides or peacock bass as tankmates if the tank is planted. Mine are living with my collection of cichla at the moment and get on perfectly.

On the certificate it says 3rd August 2009 and its about 10" so its not a bad size for a 5 month old? Its already taking freeze dried krill and will be picking up some mealworms next week. I also have MP so hopefully that should beef it up a bit :).

I do have some more pictures but they're not very good so will borrow my sisters tonight :)

Unless I saw wrong, the Certificate you posted said 3 March 2009. Being 10 months old, and only 10" is a extremely stunt arowana.

If it's true about the tag date, yes it's stunted... But this kinda stunt is a small matter as long the fish is eating greedily from now onwards. And it will bounce back to size fast. But some fish which under go controlled feeding may develop the habit of not eating much or sometime refuse to eat willingly...
