No offence bro, but they look like G2 red to me under the pink light.
Any pics under white lights?
If you are trying to sell off these aros, it is wise to get them scanned and note down their tag no.
Can try to match their tag no with the farm records (If you know the farm) or AVA (if bred in sg)
Last resort...
You can pass to me for free:) Juz joking

I'll try to swap the lights now. I'm a total noob when it comes to arowanas. I can differentiate the different types but not the grades. Check back here in 10 minutes yea.

First 4 are with the white light and no flash.

Subsequent 4 without light, just camera flash.

And i am no cameraman and they don't do the fish justice. They're much more vibrant, the coloration.

Yes they r rtg bro.
U can try bagging the fish and scan the tag at a lfs or if you know the fish shop owner well... u can borrow the scanner hm, bag the fish for easy scanning and return the scanner on the next day.
The 1st 4nos of the tag number usually will tell you which farm they r from.
Or you can check with AVA if it is locally bred.
Most farms in sg are willing to reprint the cert for you for a small fee.
Why not juz keep the fish and care for it...I believe your fren pass you his late father aros cos he knows you like aros rite
