ruined by a drop of water

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i still think it's a pretty good shot, good luck on the daemons, but if you don't mind me asking, why the three week time limit?

The drops are in just about the worst spot for editing them out as well!

Nice fish, keep us updated on the daemon.

Yep...although I'm too lazy to edit pictures anyway :D Took it after a wc and before I turned on the filters. The water was still and the angels had all their fins open....well there will be a next time :)

haha LOVE it! best tank idea ever lol, but great full tank shot, and GOOD LUCK with those daemons hopefully they will give you lots of babies (and with the magic that's floating in your water im sure its only a matter of time lol) maybe go on a trip for memorial weekend and they will have babies waiting for you when you get back, that always seems to work haha

I sure hope so!!

Because I'm getting a group of albino gold discus from Ryan in about three weeks, at which point the daemons and everything else will be evicted. They are doing all the right things, but no tube yet. I'm starting to worry that they are not happy with the pit because the sand is not deep enough :(

Truth be told, you could probably add the daemon back once the discus get settled as long as they aren't too aggressive or dominant. The only problem is that discus are slow eaters, so you have to find a way to make sure the discus get food...

I've kept discus with peaceful cichlids (keyholes, Laetacara, Uaru, severums, etc.) with good results. The only problem is the feeding. Some discus are really aggressive eaters, but this group of albinos has trouble hitting food on the first try. A lot of heavily line-bred discus have depth perception issues, and I'm sure the fact that they're albino doesn't help.

That angel is gorgeous. Is this one of the platinums?

Great shot nonetheless. The full tank shot is awesome too.

White and silver fish are terrible to expose properly, good job getting some detail in there :D I'm sure that you will have another shot at them.

Nice Angel and really loving the look of this setup!

That sounds promising. The daemons are fairly mellow. They eat well but aren't exactly pigs. If they don't behave I can always throw them back into the other tank :D

The angels are supposed to be platinum blues. What I really like about them is that they reflect so much light that they are like swimming light bulbs :)

Thanks :) It's pretty badly overexposed....I really should finish reading the manual :D

I hope my Platinums grow up to look like that one! Nice job! Good luck with breeding!

Awesome pictures Peter :) The blue iridescence in the angel's fins is gorgeous. That is a sweet piece of wood that you have in the tank. I really love the setup with the black sand. BTW, I can't even see the water drops, but I have terrible eyes ;)

Angels & Daemons - love it! Please keep us updated on a hopefully successful spawn.
