Rummy nose dropping like flies

If you know where to buy captive bred rummy nose, I would like to get some. Nearly all rummy nose and cardinal tetra sold in US are wild caught and there is a Piaba Project to promote buying wild caught fish to preserve Amazon forest. In Asia and elsewhere, captive bred fish are likely the norm due to lengthy shipment risks.

Theyre available currently with wetspot at $3 apiece labeled as TR and ebay has hobbyists selling them right now. ?

They are commerical bred. Even now has the "golden" variant of this species from selective breeding.

I got a bag of 50. did a plop and drop into my 100g. 100% survival rate. Then I lost a third of them, swimming into my cannister!

I have given up on rummy because they are difficult to acclimate and I can’t find TR rummy in my region. Mail order TR rummy may not work either because they are not raised in local water, besides risk from long shipment.

So I looked for substitute that do well in my water. I’m happy with brilliant rasboras. They are similar in size, stay on top water, and school as tight and directional as rummy. Though not as colorful as rummy, what compensate is that they are slower and calmer swimmers. Rummy schooled rapidly and nervously in my tank, and perhaps something is not right, they stressed themselves to death one by one.
