Very nice, I look forward to seeing their coloring.
I do too.
I’m kinda wondering when I’ll be able to see their tails fanning. Right now they all look single tailed.

Curiosity got to me last night and I started googling to see what their little ones could possibly look like. (Getting ahead of myself I know:rolleyes:)
I think they may look like demekins. And those guys are so cute. Haha.
I’m hoping for a special one or two to keep in my collection.

Minnesota.
Orandas are such cuties. I have one red cap. He’s done awesome since going outside. He’s gone through a major growth spurt.
kinda of topic but when you put them outside do you have them in a outdoor tank or a pond ?

Ok, so I can see some split fins now. They are the smallest of the fry. And sadly I’m starting to see some with deformities.
I’m pretty sad that I seem to have mostly single fined fry. I didn’t even think two fantailed fancies could have single fined offspring. Unless the koi did some spawning of their own before I woke up that morning, but I highly doubt that.

Some pictures

Single fins and fast growing.

Slow going fantailed, some deformed.

Well, the koi must have spawned sometime between me going out to check on the goldies. The koi fry are eating most if not all the fantailed fry.
Now I’m wondering if I have a tank full of mutt mixes, or some full koi mixed with goldies.
What a mess. All the more reason to get my Goldie pond made I guess so I can avoid this next year.

I’ll keep growing these guys a bit more to see what I really have.
Here are the two week pictures I took a few days ago.
