Thanks Andrew. I moved back to SoCal. I just set this up. It’s a 280 with 80x34x24 dimensions.As always, nicely scaped tank.
Gar will look good to take up the upper water, but won’t be true to the biostope. How about a silver arrowana or a group of pink tail chalceus. Your new tank is big enough. What size is it?
You mentioned just moved across the country. Are you no longer in PA?
The tank would be too small for a Arowana. I’m researching top water that would work with this tank. Chalceus would have to be full grown to escape the attention of the bass. Can’t find any larger than six inches which is the minimum size since the intermedia should hit 12” this year while the chalceus will barely grow.
