oscar is the most loving pet keeping fish because it tends to recognise you + for 6 years it would have been just like your family member IMO you should raise another oscar from 1" and take more care of it from HITH

If you're interested you can have one of my wild colombian o's for free. I moved a couple things around in my tank and the 'rio caqueta' pair formed up again and broke the pact with the other two so I'm thinking I have to get rid of the two colombian. You can have one free before I decide to sell them for a whopping $15 each lol.

Thanks again for all the kind responses! rdx1555 offered me a nice wild Columbian Oscar and I was at Petsmart to get some meal worms and looked at the Oscars. I'm just not ready if anyone knows what I mean? My friends and family that dont keep fish act like I'm crazy, but I'm sure some of you know how I'm feeling??
The only downside to our hobby is our wetpets have such short lives. i lost a 9 year old salvini I know how you feel i almost dropped the hobby. But it wouldent befare to my other 50+ fish. It sucks for sure but we just fight through and keep the pics handy. Grab a few beers give it some time. Im very sorry for the loss.
