Hello; That some have been inside all glass tanks without breaking anything is now clear. I had never tried it and did not know for sure.

You hit the big question that still lingers. Does this mean that the outcome will be the same for the OP? I still would not try getting into a tank if some other way can be had.

I used Acetone on both the tanks I've sealed.

I can't really reach the bottom too well its 30 inches deep. I need to reseal. Can I go inside?

Is the bottom panel on a Styrofoam pad?

no it is a floating bottom. I believe the sides are sitting on the plastic frame rather than on the bottom piece of glass due to the weight of them. I will put something in it to spread the weight and let my petite wife go in it. Maybe 110 lbs...

I really wanted to also include a Kevlar suit, crash helmet, and gas mask.....but didn't want to come across too ocd
