The fins will grow back on their own. Salt will help, but don't over do it. Just sprinkle some in. My Striped Peacock (which is actually what you have, not a regular Peacock) has grown his fins back a few times because of my Angelfish "devil".

Just make sure he isn't getting picked on too bad. Also, he looks kind of thin, how new is he?

put the salt in a glass of warm water to dissolve it. after thatyou can put the dissolved water in your tank.

Try earthworms. Seriously. The ones from the bait shop are fine. They love them. If he's to small for a whole one, cut one into pieces. Also, if it looks like it's stuck in his mouth for a few seconds, don't worry, they will swallow it eventually, or spit it out. Unless it's thrashing it's head around, it should be fine. ;)

Possibly invest in a rubbermaid container, and buy a few packages of worms, and some soil and you could start a worm colony. You'd have an endless/long-lasting supply of food for your eel. I do it. Just feed the worms cornmeal, and some vegetable scraps.

I tried earthworms 2da and my cichlids ate them all b4 I could get them near him :irked:
I'll try again 2moro

i came home today and he was dead :(
im not sure what happened
