Salt or Fresh Water: Which has got the best monster fish

I wanted to do a pole between salt and fresh. Obviously I didn't figure it out. So what's got the best monster fish fresh or salt?

I'm rellatively new to the aquarium seen, but I like Fresh water knife fish. Mainly the black ghost knife. Followed closely by the royal knife.

Post pics if you got them, I'm interested to see both sides of Fresh or salt

IMO fresh water takes the prize, although salt has some serious monsters
