just for prevention of any kind of disease and also i noticed when i put salt everytime i change the water my "ARO" is more calm(less stress) and its really well known to improve gill function!!!

There is no need to add salt after every water change. The only reason to add salt or up the heat is for ich, and open wounds. Some even use it for split fins.

Please explain how it improves gill function.

There is no salt in their natural habitat so no need to routinely add salt

I use salt in all my tanks with every waterchange. I have no ill effects. All my fish are healthy and happy. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I agree, I add salt to all my tanks with every waterchange also.

I add salt too, just a little, about 3 tbs per 50-60 gallons. I add it for trace elements, and electrolites, since I use ro/di water.
