If it's nit hiding and settled in , I won't add anything . If it is not settled and keeps hiding You may add some more cichlids ( sturdy ones like a convict) , but don't just add 1 .Just picked up this salvini.....about 2-2.5 inches....I'm pretty sure it's a female? Right now it's just by itself with a group of sturdy tetras and a featherfin catfish in a 75.
Would I be able to add another cichlid? Tips? Suggestions?

Thanks! Great advice. If it's nit hiding and settled in , I won't add anything . If it is not settled and keeps hiding You may add some more cichlids ( sturdy ones like a convict) , but don't just add 1 .
Eventually as it grows it'll take up the whole 75 gallon but for now you could add some more to get it going.
The luck you had with no aggression from the salvini is beyond my comprehension of words.Depends on gender of the fish, in my own personal experience I’ve had a female salvini live with blackbelt cichlid, jack Dempseys, rtc, arowana and more. I never had a single problem with aggressive behavior.
