Just picked up this salvini.....about 2-2.5 inches....I'm pretty sure it's a female? Right now it's just by itself with a group of sturdy tetras and a featherfin catfish in a 75.
Would I be able to add another cichlid? Tips? Suggestions?

If it's nit hiding and settled in , I won't add anything . If it is not settled and keeps hiding You may add some more cichlids ( sturdy ones like a convict) , but don't just add 1 .
Eventually as it grows it'll take up the whole 75 gallon but for now you could add some more to get it going.

You could add a male Salvini.
Keep Tiger Barbs or big Tetras to pick off unwanted fry.
Build a substantial hardscape, one big enough to block line of sight. My Salvini isolated themselves behind a big limestone rock, where they regularly nested. They didn't really bother tankmates.
Here's a pic of the Salvini pair I once kept.20210725_065903.jpg

Depends on gender of the fish, in my own personal experience I’ve had a female salvini live with blackbelt cichlid, jack Dempseys, rtc, arowana and more. I never had a single problem with aggressive behavior.
The luck you had with no aggression from the salvini is beyond my comprehension of words.
