San Francisco Fish Abuse

1. unless you are a vegetarian and don't keep fish, you'll need to re-examine yourself. where do you think your juicy stake comes from? driven past harris ranch lately? humane? how about eggs, or chickens, or chocolate, you know how they harvest the coca fruit?

2. this store, 6th ave. has been around for longer than most kids on this board have been alive. its the old part of San Francisco, with history and character. Also do you know how all the tropical fish you buy and keep today come from, how they're kept? Around most parts of the world, again its just a "pet" so we paint them, make short bodies, wait that's cruel. How about docking ears and tails off dogs, cutting balls and neutering cats so they're more "house" friendly. Would you de-claw your child if he scratched up your couch? or how about trophy hunting, or catch and release, that makes the fish happier after being lured into thinking its getting food, then impaled in the mouth, taken out of water, equivalent of me drowning you in water, for a photo, maybe a few minutes, then held upright for a few to slowly sink to the bottom to be picked off by predators.

3. nobody is perfect, and that store sells decent fish, fast turn around, great prices, and they're surviving after all the other stores around are not.

I wish they had a place like that down here, all the places here a sometimes a bit too clean and too pricey, I'd call pretentious. They look all good up front, but in the back they actually still hump their fish, just like the KFC workers.

Yeah me too, I'd be willing to have to see fish in small containers and bad smell to get cheap prices on rares!
